Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, username, and authentication details via Firebase Auth.

Public Resume Profile Information

Any details you add to your candidate profile—such as your elevator pitch, skills list, external links (LinkedIn, GitHub, Portfolio), and availability status—will be stored in our database and made publicly visible to anyone who scans your QR code.

Garment Order and Shipping Information

To print and fulfill your T-shirt orders, we collect configuration details (T-shirt size, text style, color) and your physical delivery address.

Secure Payment Processing

All financial transaction processing is handled securely by Stripe. The Walking Resume does not collect, receive, or store your credit/debit card numbers.

Quick Summary

Your profile page is public by design when scanned.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
You can edit or completely delete your profile at any time.
Payments are handled securely via Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect only for specific purposes aligned with delivering our services:

To maintain your account credentials and security.
To build your public online candidate profile accessed via your custom QR code.
To process, print, package, and deliver your custom T-shirt orders.
To track the number of scans your QR code receives so that we can show scan analytics in your dashboard.
To notify you about order status updates or system issues.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud Platform infrastructure). We utilize serverless security rules to ensure that only authenticated owners can write or modify their own data.

We retain your data for as long as your account exists. If you decide to close your account, you can perform a deletion request in your Dashboard, which will instantly purge your profile and account record from our active databases.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share information only with trusted third parties to execute critical operations:

Payment Gateways (Stripe) to handle card verification and checkout processing.
Printing & Shipping Partners to manufacture and deliver your physical Walking Resume T-shirt.
Legal Compliance if required to do so under subpoena or official regulatory investigations.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use secure, functional cookies to manage your login state and session authentication. We do not use persistent advertising trackers or third-party cookies that trace your behavior across other web applications.
